I understand completely. I'm going through a rough patch myself right now with lots of muscle aches. Yes, indeed thinking of it as growing pains puts a positive spin on it. Few who haven't been there or taken their D deficiency seriously can relate to all this. Good to have you here.

One of the most difficult aspects of this condition is the real isolation one feels. No one quite understands how debilitating, painful and widespread the malaise is before and during recovery.
