hi my name is jessica and my daughter natalie is 21 months and is doing the same thing. she ***** her thumb and picks at her nose til he bleeds i have tried everything such as gloves bandaids, yelling, timeouts when i catch her doind it.she wakes up in the morning with blood everywhere. have you found a solution yet, no one knows how to help me. i tape the glove to her clothes so she cant take the glove off but shell sit there for hours trying to get the glove off and as soon as she does she picks. her whole nose is a scab and always bleeding

I tried "Mavala Stop" on my 8 year-old daughter who was picking her face, while sucking her stop. She stopped the sucking and picking. "Mavala Stop" tastes much worse than "Thum". You can purchase it over the internet.

HI We are going on almost a year of my daughter sucking her thumb and picking her face. I just tried using THUM on her thumb, but she doesn't mind the taste and still ***** her thumb. Right now she has 5 spots on her face. I'm calling a dermatologist tomorrow and then my next step will be to sew gloves onto her pajamas to wear to bed. Have you had any success with anything else? I hope there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Thanks, Laurie

Laurie, We are going thru the exact same thing with our three year old, only this has been happening for almost two years now! We have tried everything! We have seen a dermatologist, a behavior psychologist, and now her pediatrician is suggesting anti-anxiety medicine. She now has scars from the picking and has eight spots on her face that she is rubbing as well. We are at a loss! What have you tried? Have you had any success? Sincerely, Roni
