About Me: Female, Beaverton, member since Apr 2011
I am addicted to legally prescribed pain medication, and have been for about 4 years now. I don't doctor shop, I don't break the law, I do have a legitimate reason to take the medications, but, I know I am an addict. I am going to cold turkey, stop taking them, because
[More] I want my life back. I am here because I need to talk to people who know what I am going through. I need support and advice. It has taken me too long to admit I am an addict. I'm scared, and I can't wait to take my life back!!!! I used to love life, now I just want to stay at home and watch TV and take my medication, this is no way to live. <3
Just a quick note to say hi! I'm not sure how all this works, but I think of you often, want so much for you to beat Tram, I know I will never touch it again. So you are my first friend ever on the computer! I like keeping in touch with you!
Love and strength, Lorraine
