About Me: Female, 60, Shippensburg, PA, member since Jul 2011
I've had hep C for about 35 years that became cirrhosis and also liver cancer. I am currently in the transplant list at Hershey Medical Center
Since become sick, I lost my store in Key West and my husband and I had to move to Pa. Waiting for section 8 and since I lost my income I now have Medicaid which is the only way I could see all the Drs I've had to see. I've been in Pa a year and it has not been fun. Boring and not feeling well. But my 64 year old husband has been able to go back to school as a senior and work on 2 degrees he didn't finish a long time ago, So life has changed.
I have 2 grown kids and 7 grandkids and have been able to connect with a sister I've been out of touch with for many many years. So we are trying to find some positive in all of this.
