About Me: Female, 45, Singapore, member since Aug 2011
For two years I've had diffuse symptoms and have seen numerous specialists for each. It was frustrating to be told that yes there are symptoms but nothing clinically significant, in any case here are some meds.
Had two hospitalizations and numerous tests MRI, MRA, Holter test, colonoscopy, endoscopy...just a month ago was diagnosed! Various forums and Internet info made me aware that it could even take about 6-7 years before a diagnosis is made. I'm fortunate in that sense. On the other hand this illness is very rare in Asians implying I'll need an online support group.
Hey Silverlining!!! :)
I hope you are doing well!!! :)
I'm not on antidepressants for depression. I don't have depression. :) I'm on them for pain, in low doses. But I do know that they have fatigue as a side effect. I didn't feel any different fatigue wise after I was put on them, which I guess is a good thing. However, that being said, I'm on Effexor as well and that one could have boosted my energy levels, which it didn't.
