These days (and I'm ashamed to admit this) we as patients have to take on the major part of the responsibility for our health care. It shouldn't be that way but in today's rush, rush, rush mode it's just the way it is .... We have to play the "squeaky wheel" to put our minds at ease .....
HI, we are always entitled to a second opinion and should be all means seek one. You know that lab tests and other exams (X-ray etc.) though done at a particular office need to be read by those specializing in that field (Lab tech., Radiologist, Pathologist). Reports are rarely immediate unless you are being tested in a hospital where these Physicians are in attendance. Good Luck with the new Doc. Hope you get some answers to your concerns. Regards ....
This isn't the Forum where the Dr.s from the Cleveland Clinic answer questions. The Expert Forum would be the place to get these answers. I might suggest that you follow the Dr.s recommendations and follow thru with the appointments that are made for you by your Physician. Seems like you are switching Dr.s before they even get a chance to do any testing or in the case of the surgeon, even see you. Discharge from the breast isn't all that unusual and from what you describe it sounds like the lumpiness of your breasts doesn't really raise much concern; at least not as far as breast cancer.
