my wife had a disk replacement done between L 4&5 and she is worse off now than before the surgery she was 30 years old and now 31 and getting worse we arelooking at laser surgry i would ask your doc if laser surgery is an opp. for your needs it is an out paticant surgery and all most instant relif. good luck wish you the best.
had that surgery also known as the 360. It was very difficult. I mean very painful. I had to have an emergency fusion because of the sciatica left me unable to walk, stand, lie down and espcially unable to sit even to urinate. I wish you luck. I still have pain but the success rate is only good if you have leg pain. Otherwise I would put it off until you can't take it anymore.
