Hi! Thanks for checking in with me. Just waiting for RAI on Aug 2 at this point. I handled the second surgery much better than the first one. Turns out I had 2 additional microcarcinomas on the right side so really glad I got the whole thing out. Now just working on adjusting meds. On 125 synthroid now, was hypo on my blood word 2 weeks ago so hoping to get that down. My blood pressure was also really high a week after surgery so am taking a beta blocker. But other than that I'm doing well. How are you?
How are you doing?
Hi Mrs Barnes, I did get the cancer diagnosis. I had one large partially encapsulated pap cancer and one small fully encapsulated follicular tumor. I have more questions than answers. I dont feel bad right now, just anxious for my next surgery in 3 weeks and then RAI after that. I'm concerned about the partially encapsulated one, I have no idea if that means it spread. I am still waiting to talk to my doctor to get some answers. Trying to take one day at a time and just focus only on the 24 hours in front of me. But it's hard. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as well that you will feel well. Best to you. karyne
