Hi there, I noticed that you wrote a post about the cost of IUI for U of M and Oakland hospital. I am also in Michigan and overwhelmed by what UofM charges for everything. Have you been to Oakwood yet? how was your experience? Thanks! MommySoon

I read one of your posts on here and you said that you're going to go to Oakland Hospital to do IUI for cheaper. I was wondering if you could give me some more information. My husband and I live in Michigan (we live in a small town near Lansing) and we're trying to find places that do cheaper IUI or IVF. Please help, we've been ttc since October of 2007 and I've had two miscarriages. Thank you for your time.

Hi, I am so sorry you are going through this. I just thought you might want to hear from someone who is kinda going through the same thing. I had IVF and my BETA came back at 1.6. Well, I was told BFN. AF came 2 days later and was normal. We even had our schedule for my FET and had started my BC to get ready for it. Well, 2 weeks after my BFN I tested again w/ a HPT and got a faint BFP. So, I called my DR and had a BETA done the same day it was 103. Well, then I went in the next day for a U/S and they could not find anything. SO they did another BETA and it came back 170. It went up by more than 1/2 in one day. I was told to test again on Monday but chances are I will loose my baby in the next 2 weeks. There is also concern of an ectopic, but since they can't see it they don't know.
