About Me: Female, 75, Rock Hill, SC, member since Sep 2011
I am almost 70 years old, married with 3 kids and 7 grandkids. My life has been extremely stressful. I was diagnosed with agoraphobia in my 20's, had a hysterectomy in my early 30's, suffered with migrains from my 20's until just a few years ago, smoked since I was 15
[More] up till 2 years ago when I suffered an acute M.I. My husband gave me chest compressions which kept me alive and when given the blood thinner at hospital I almost bled out. They scoped me twice and found 11 ulcers and stopped the bleeding. I was out for almost 5 days then in hospital for another 10. Fifteen years ago I went to the hospital with skipped heart beats and was diagnosed with multi-focal tachycardia and high blood pressure and told they were harmless and try not to worry about them. Had episodes off and on but recently (2 months ago) they started again and haven't let up. I was put on a e-cardio event monitor for 18 days and am seeing my doctor tomorrow as he called and said that I was having pvc's. I have lived with panic attacks, headaches and stress for so long, I'm not sure what to do any more. Can't live in fear all the time. Having had the heart attack where they put in 2 stents and my not remembering anything till I woke up 5 days later magnifies absolutely every twinge I now get. I had NO warning symptoms of the attack. My husband said I stood up then went down. My recent echo and stress test were normal, so don't know what to think. I also have hyperthyroid which the med he put me on has brought my tsh level to within the normal range and I have goiter and gerd for which I've been on protonix since my heart attack and stomach ulcer bleeds.
"I am 71 and after a visit to the ER, found out I had a 12.9 mm stone in my kidney blocking function. They inserted a stent then put me on pain pills and antibiotics. Am now facing a lithotripsy. Please tell me what I am facing with this ..."
Just a quick note to say hi!
Hi, I was reading some of ur posts, and they sound so reassuring.. I have an arrhythmia and ectopics, or missed beats. I've had them for at least 22 years, I'm 36 so I've been aware of them since a very young age.. I've never met or spoken to anyone with the same symptoms as myself.. I'm married I've got a child and I live with my husband, whom I'm always pestering as I get anxious and nervous when I get these episodes.. I live in the UK in Oldham, I was originally from Birmingham but relocated when I got married.. I hope I could add u as a friend on here, I've only just signed up, would like to share some of my experiences with u if u don't mind.. I hope ur well. Thanks for your time.. X
