Just a quick note to say hi! Dear kisskiss, everything you have mentioned points to Fibro. I have had it since I was about 20 yrs and I am now 57 yrs. I have tried every thing possible and am now going up to the North of Australia where the temperature is more even and no barometric presssure, the weather plays a huge part in this problem, keep an eye on it and buy a barometer and watch it change and see if you are any worse on those days. A gluten free diet has helped me also. I can't think of anything else that may help you. Love Val. x xx
Hope you have lots of fun with your grandson today! How are you feeling?

While I agree some people ARE misdiagnosed and do have other diseases and/or infections goin on - I also believe not everyone who has received a fibro diagnosis do. Same as, while some people who have a cough and runny nose may have an allergy, many others with the same symptoms may have the flu or sinus infection!
Anyway - hope your "good phase" continues and you stay feeling better!
I'm glad you're feeling better. You'll definitely see that with fibro - ups and downs are sooooo common.
By all means, check EVERYTHING out - you certainly don't want to miss anything - just don't let anyone tell you that there is no such thing as fibro or it doesn't exist - believe me, IT DOES.
One other passage from that book I mentioned that has stuck with me - it was talking about how some doctors and many people still don't believe in fibro and often think it's "in your head". It was saying that hundreds and hundreds of years ago, they used to say that diabetes was "in your head" - until they discovered the role of the pancreas in regulating blood sugar.
