I don't know much about the dosage, I think I was on 10mg? But, I definitely think taking before, during and after transfer makes the most sense. You dont want the embryos to be treated at "the enemy" in your body. It seems if they are stopping it at time of transfer, it gives the body the option to reject it. I was weaned off, and believe I totally stopped after heartbeats were heard. Maybe a little longer??
Research away! I 100% believe you have to be your own advocate on this horrible journey!!!
I'm sending you a big bear hug! I am so sorry that you are going through this!! My heart breaks for you. I completely understand why you would need some distance from MH. I hope you feel some peace and hope very soon. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you everyday!!
Love & Hugs~
I was reading your and graces notes back and forth. Sorry :). I agree with grace. You shouldnt reduce it at transfer time. Thats when the foreign objects (the embryos) are entering your body. That's when you want your body to be "friendly" and accept the embryos.
You have so many women rooting for you jewel!! We want you to be a mommy SO bad!!
Hmmm I wouldn't be reducing it to 10mg...keep it at 20mg n then reduce it later after your 3 months pregnant n its really worked!! Only my suggestion but my immune doctor said 10mg isn't strong enough in older women who have tried Ivf n have NK cells - me and I suspect you too. I was on 20mg.. He upped it to 25 then reduced it to 20mg later. I was on them for almost 6 months in total n my final tablet is tmw at 2.5mg..I hope your specialist knows about Alan beer protocol..x
