Read your postings about Synthroid. I've been on it for 2 years. Started out with .025, to .50 now .75. Took Synthroid all along and had no problems. Doc messed up and gave me generic this time. Taking it 3 days and had terrible diarreah since starting it. I take the pill at 5 AM every morning. At just about 1:30, the diarreah comes on. I mean with no warning. I also noticed I don't sleep as well either. Called the doc and I'm going back on "regular" Synthroid. I hope all is well with you, your posts were so informative!!

Hi Thyro Man I am 39 and i was diagnosed with GD about 6 months ago, although i my joints had started to swell months before and i had started to loose weight. I have been on carbimizole since then plus numerous other drugs to help the swelling go down. I have also been taking my own health drugs to help me as much as possible and i have gone slight hypo where i was extremely hyper. But i find that my feet get quite sore still, underneath, also my fingers are still swollen and my elbows can get quite stiff. I am taking something called Rhumatol which does seem to help a bit. I was just wandering what it is that you were taking before you cycled across america? I hope and pray you get this and maybe we can correspond. Godbless Lee lee_williams37***@****
