About Me: Female, 80, temple, TX, member since Mar 2007
I have Parkinson, 2 years diagnosed, lowgrade ovarian cancer (had Doxil treatsments last summer, seems to be effective for present), Supraventricular tachycardia made worse by chemo. Up until lately I have handled all this very well, but depression is biting at my heels
[More]. My left arm is aching off and on and of course, and my heart rate has increased which tires me out greatly. I sound very negative, have many positives, my family being number one. Texas Grannie
Thanks for your comment to my journal. I know that MDA is one of those places that make me eligible for trials. Since my rising numbers are not "statistically significant" They need for the numbers or a ct scan showing more cancer. I've not decided if I will go straight to this VEGF study or go on to doxil. The Texas Genealogy library is great...Actually, my dad and I are really into genealogy. My dad's gen website is at mayhouse dot org Take care of yourself and keep on keeping on. Haven't you enjoyed the weather these last few days?
I wanted to thank you for sharing your story in my Journal. I think you are a very courageous woman. I hope that if you haven't already you will post a journal about your history, I'd love to read it. :)
