I am 46, married to my best friend for the last 26 years. We have 3 great kids: 24, 22 and 19. I was diagnosed with MS in 2012, although I pursued treatment for Lyme's Disease before accepting that I really do have MS, the fact that I've run a fever pretty much all the
[More] time since I worked on a forest fire in 2002 just made me suspicious. My dad developed MS rather late in life as well. I had to quit my job as a railroad freight conductor and went to school for massage therapy. The light exercise involved in massage actually seems to help me to feel better and the limited hours are a great fit. But I really feel the loss of my railroad paychecks!
I do pretty well overall, my most problematic symptoms are optical and fatigue (of course) but I seem to be right on the cusp of problematic foot drop, as I'm very easy to track in snow because I drag my toe enough to mark the snow.
Thank you. I am just chilling waiting for my friend to finish in the bathroom, then i am up washed, dressed and we are off lol. Going a bit early as it is hot here and we are trying to avoid the traffic, so leaving at 7am. Not sure if it will just be a waste of time and money but i am willing to try anything right now. xxxx
