About Me: Female, 32, Washington, DC, member since Dec 2011
30 years old, almost 31. Married to DH for 3 years. Been ttc for almost a full year now. Always thought it would be easy. Gets harder with each month. Looking towards getting some help from fertility doctors soon.
[More] UPDATE (10/1/12): we had gone through all the fertility tests and everything looked good...no reason why we weren't getting a bfp. We decided to start a clomid/IUI cycle. After making that decision, we had one more cycle to finish before we could start our IUI cycle. And guess what! It worked. The natural way! On Sept 15th we got a BFP!! We had our 6 week u/s and everything looks good so far. Heartbeat around 157. Looking forward to Thanksgiving when we've decided to tell our families.
UPDATE: Lena Elizabeth was born 3 1/2 weeks early but perfect. She was 5 lbs 12 oz. Its been a hard adjustment but thank goodness for my parents. They live nearby and take Lena when I need a break. She is starting to smile and I'm looking forward to more milestones.
Thank you so much for the sweet note!! And honestly I feel like Naeomie has taught me how to breastfeed her lol The tip that I would give is to let the nurses help guide you with making sure your baby is latched properly. Also, I tried pumping on the 3rd day which helped my milk supply come in good :)
