Im turning 28 in march and just been diagonsed with MS Jan 2012 by my GP/PCP. Will be seeing a Neuro soon so hopefully I will get more answers. Right now I'm a lucky one just numbness in legs and hands. I'm glad to be here (although sad on the terms), seems I'm in good

Feeling like I don't have MS! Thats a great feeling :)
Copaxone not working for me, so onto rebif!
I'm progressing and not in a good way :(
Hello my friend! Boston is so much work! I am having LOTS of fun with my thesis and this coming semester I have a clinical placement at the big Rehab hospital out here. I am nervous, but excited. How is your research going? How is your health? I have not had a relapse since my last big one, and I hope it is because of the Copaxone. You switched to Avonex. right? How is is going??? Hugs!
Congrats on the house! That is so awesome! I'm def sorry Copaxone didn't work for you too, because it is a relatively easy shot to take. I hope Rebif is easy on you and you are lucky and have no side effects. The move went well, and I have completed my first semester of grad school! It's been super-busy and a TON of work, and I love it. I spent my first semester working with kids under 5 who have speech/language problems, and they are so much fun to work with. I am loving it and I try to mostly ignore my MS, but I still take my shot every day.
I'm thinking of you! Keep us posted with the switch. I am sorry Copax didn't work, but so grateful there are other meds for you to try. You are my hero :) I will have my next MRI (my 1-year) in March. At my 6-month I had new lesions, but hopefully I won't have any in March- but if I do I will think of how strong you have been as my inspiration :)
