[More] kind of slow right now, so I talked to my boss about taking a leave of absence to get off methadone and get clean.Luckily he understands the situation and is a good friend, so he agreed to do it so I could do this and get my life together(boy do I owe him big for this).Anyways, I hope to use this time to taper, detox, and work on my recovery.I am missing out on some good money and will probably end up using most of my savings to complete this task.I know it will be worth it in the end.I feel I am most fortunate for my situation because many others do not have the luxury of being able to take off of work while they are coming down and withdrawing from opiates. This is why I must get this thing right the first time with no relapses. However, I am very determined to do it and have alot of people counting on me.I refuse to fail or let eveyone down.So far it has gone pretty smooth, but I know it will only get rougher as time goes on.God shall guide me through.I wish everyone the best of luck on their road to recovery and know that we all can reach our destination to sobriety.God Bless!!!
