About Me: Female, 43, Mt. Airy, MD, member since Mar 2012
I am a 39 year old business professional that has been putting having a family on the back burner. I can now hear the biological clock ticking in my damn ears like someone beating on a pot with a spoon. What was I thinking? Oh I know, I have ALL the time in the world.
[More] WRONG! So now I am on this journey of having a baby and while I am very hopeful I keeping thinking I was so stupid for waiting so long. My whole female reproductive system has been checked out and the only issue they can find (at this point, after having my thyroid removed for Hyperthyroidism in Aug 2011) is possible PCOS which we are now treating with Clomid. Clomid is a horse of a completely different color and I hold my breath every month (only two but still) that my ovaries are not hyperstimulated. So that is me at this moment in my life.....
