About Me: Female, 48, Stuart, FL, member since Mar 2012
I am a 45 yr old mother of 4. My whole life I have been one to "suck it up" or "push through" sickness and pain. Late March of this month (after at least a month of eye pain and dim/blurry vision I finally went to my eye dr. Immediately she had me see an optical ne
[More]urologist who diagnosed me with optical neuritis. After researching about Optical Neuritis I realized all the pain I have been pushing through, headaches, foggy thinking, feeling like someone has poured something either cold or hot on me, waking up with both of my arms asleep were actually my body trying to tell me something.
I thought I was just getting older (thinking I was really in trouble when I hit 60 if this is what early 40's is like), I thought maybe it's just the way my body is processing "the change" etc.
Now, tomorrow I will visit a MS specialist Neurologist, I am pretty sure shortly I will be diagnosed with MS. I am afraid and worried about what is coming next... but, I know that I can and will make it with Christ's strength.
