About Me: Female, 56, Alexandria, VA, member since Apr 2012
I am 53 years old and found myself addicted to oxycontin after a shoulder replacement 2 years ago. The dose was 80mg 3x per day. Only after my daughter who is expecting our first grandchild told me frankly that she would not leave a baby with me because I'm stoned all
[More] the time did I decide to go cold turkey for the family. It was horrible but worth it. I have another child, a son in college, I guess he just wouldn't say anything like that to his mom but because it was his spring break when I quit, he did help me out a bit. I'm married to a wonderful man and we raise Boston Terriers.
