I'm a mother of 2 (14 & 9) and have struggled with a bit of weight gain. Nothing huge, but enough for me to try to get to it. There is obesity and diabetes in my family, so for me to be 4'11 and 139 lbs is something to worry about. Not to mention makes me feel awful abo
[More]ut myself as I can feel my body not happy carrying the extra weight.For my height I am about 25 lbs overweight.
I have allowed myself to get sucked into really low carb programs including the HCG, which helped me lose like 20 lbs which was great - however I couldn't finish the next phase because I was STARVING!! Then I just tried cutting back on the amounts that I ate -- I'm known as a healthy eater and I just gained. My system was SHOT to hell. I got off of that and started eating and got down to 135 and hit a wall.
So, I went back to what works, feeds me and makes my body feel good and that was the 6 Week Body Makeover, which I did back in 2004. Luckily I still had the binder at least and am familiar with it. It takes a lot of food prep, but it is so worth it.
Im never starving, I'm learning to get creative and this tracker is helping me be accountable and to be able to look at what I ate the day before.
I started Monday April 23rd at 135. Today is Thursday April 26 and I am down 4 lbs. I can see my face thinning out and I can feel a difference in the weight of my walk. The sun is starting to shine again and I'm feeling muuch better. No bloating and no heavy upset stomach.
