I have degenerative disk disease, have had 2 disk surgeries, resulting in permanent sciatic nerve pain, left leg spasms, lack of reflexes. Lately disk bulging disks in neck, and my rotatorr cuff is almost shot, just thank goodness it is all on the left side! I also had
[More] a little boy who died of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and he was on constant treatment for 5 years, then his body just REALLY gave out. I was his nurse so if anybody is caring for a child with leukemia, could maybe have some ideas (mostly what NOT to agree to from the doctors perspective.) I have been in pain forever it seems, well since 1995 for sure!TRY to see the humor in these trials and tribulations, boy is it tough!I have been plagued by anxiety/panic attecks since 18 and I feel it was the worst periods of my life. It is so hard to deal with issues you can't even explain. My oldest daughter is a heroin addict, with Hep c, and 2 bouts of liver failure,(she's 32), and she had a second son (my grandson) with Tetrolagy of Fallot. I try to see the humor in everything, and I love music!
Finally got my pain meds from the pharmacy, and the waiting is over! hope they work! Have bruises all over my shoulder from the useless "Trigger Point" injections!
Well, I have So many bruises from the useless "Trigger Point" injections, but DID finally get my ppain meds from the pharmacy! Waiting and praying they give some relief! Very happy and so glad the waiting is over!

was looking for info abt low wbc's. and high lymphocytes, oh yeah low platelets, have night sweats but I'm 50 and 5 mths since last period. I saw your post about your son, then clicked on your name to send you a message just to say I felt my gut hurting while I read about your son dying, cant imagine the pain you live with.
Then to see all the crap your still going thru.
I kind of did a quick sweep of your page, when you wrote you got "trigger point injections" was that for your shoulder (I was told I need surgery build up of calcium already had 3 cortizone injections) why wont they give you cortizone??/
Hope your not in pain now georgie434
Sciatica isn't fun is it? There is no way to shut it off. I could take all of my month's worth of pain medications and it still wouldn't touch it! I had an operationa few years ago that helped it alot though. i had some scar tissue impinging the sciatic nerve. A surgeon embedded a membrane of some sort between the scar tissue and the nerve. It dropped my sciatic pain from an 8 to a manageable 5. Just thought I'd let you know. Maybe your a candidate for tha tparticular type of surgery. My guess is that you'd know if you were, because if your like me, you exhaust EVERY effort to get ridof that sciatic pain correct?
Just a quick note to say hi!
