hello sophia i am from india as i can understand your pain i was also suffering from very high degree of myopia and it was getting worse every month but one day i learnt about dr bates book [eyes without glasses] by practicing dr bates methods i was able to reduce my eye glasses number considerably this book is freelley available at internet you can able to remove your glasses in 2 year for further help you can contact me at my mail address ***@****. their was a man with the same degree of myopia you have and he was able to remove glasses in two years after reading the book his myopia was cured may god help you and give you strength to fight your myopia yours caring friend

Sophia, I'm a high myope with issues too. Recently, I had IOL d/t microvascularization and now I have macular deg. It is hard, I need to talk with someone w/similar issues. Hello sophia35, I just noticed your note from way back in May. To be honest with you, the Restasis has helped me the least. What has helped the most was the insertion of punctal plugs in all four puncti, taking fish oil 3000 mg daily, wearing large sunglasses that keep moisture on my eyes, and using a humidifier (I live in a high desert climate). Also, if things get bad enough, you could always try to wear 1-day Acuvue Moist daily wear contacts that go to a -12 and then wear a thin pair of glasses as an over-refraction - that is what I do.
