Hi, bean, thank you for your post to me earlier, on Mo's thread. I remember you telling me to get the weekly labs done, so I think I can just ask for those to be done, with my regular Doctor, since my Treating Doctor doesn't mention that (guess I could ask her, but she's always so busy, it's hard to corner her, at the clinic I go to)
I need to know my HGB, on a weekly basis, to decide if I should riba-reduce. It is hard for me to tell if my breathlessness is from the hemo anemia, or amild case of asthma, because it is pollen season~ Of course, my grey, sickly face pretty much tells me my HGB is not getting better, but tommorow I will have my P.A. give me that lab slip, I can assert myself!
I uploaded my 2002 & 2012 biopsy reports to my personal page if you are interested.
Just a quick note to say hi!
Want to be put on your list. Not too much to tell though. Official diagnosis on 1/17/2012. Contracted 37 years earlier. My genotype is 1 a, and my starting viral load was 14200 IU/ml. I started triple therapy with incivek on February 23, 2012. I was UND at four weeks. Have not had a liver biopsy. Not sure why, didn't realize it was routinely done until this forum. Perhaps Dr. felt it was not neccessary since a CAT scan, MRI, and ultrasound showed the liver as of normal size or unremarkable. Had those done for another reason. Anyway, if you need more blood work info, just let me know.
hi bean, just wanted you to know that i'm nearing the end of my trial. may 24th is my end date. i'm at 44 weeks right now. i'm still UND and feeling okay. i'm still anemic so they lowered my riba to 600. it's helped. i still try to do low impact cardio classes but right now i'm a nurse for my husband. he had shoulder surgery last week. we're in fine shape over here. i hope all is good for you. keep in touch. belle
