I was just googling "dizzy when you take your first bite of food" and your question came up. I know it's been a few years since you've commented but I was wondering if you still have these symptoms. I had my stapedectomy in March 2015 on my left ear and this symptom was bad during my recovery. Now I notice it maybe once a month. It usually happens if I am super hungry and haven't eaten anything for a long time. My husband thinks I'm crazy and I never brought it up to the doctor. Do you also have ringing in your ear? My CT scan confirmed I have otosclerosis in my right ear too but I'm not experiencing hearing loss yet so i'll be delaying the second surgery for as long as I can.
Funny I get the same... I thought it was to do with my hearing also. have a hearing aid in right ear due to otosclerosis, stapedectomy my option too. this has been occuring only since having my hearing aid this year I'm 40.. it's very odd and quite worrying so your blog is very helpful Steve C
Hi there...Thanks for posting your original symtoms on the web...like many others I thought I was probably the only one especially after my Doctor had never heard of it b4. I'm a 43 yr old Man from the U.K.
I'm going to print out all these posts and hand them over to my Doctor.... and wait in anticipation to see her expression :) Cheers, Chris W (***@****)
