I read your post about your black cat turning red. Same thing is happening with a black cat that I adopted 6 moths ago - it started with one spot on her tail and is now increasing -bizarre - I thought it might be from the sun because she loves it on the balcony and she was in a shelter her whole life where she probably didn't get much sun. I too read that it could be an issue with the diet. And...oddly enough, your post makes me think that is the cause, because she has been on SO since I adopted her because of my older mail cat. Bet SO has something missing that she needs. Did you find out from your vet?
Hi catgirl1 - the same thing is happening to a 3 year old black cat that I adopted about 6 mos ago - my older cat is on SO for crystals so the new one eats it too. Bizarre - I bet its a lack of something in SO.
Just a quick note to say hi!
I have read an old post abt your cat having a skin reaction to flea allergies...I would like to know how your cat made out with this?
mine has the same skin allergy problem...difference being there are NO fleas.
were you able to clear up the reaction?
