Hi! My mom had a stroke 03/07/2008. Massive deep hemorrhagic, left brain (mostly/crossed lobes). Devastating. She's 71. Day before yesterday, she didn't know who I was or my name. Didn't know she had three daughters. Only remembered my oldest sister.
Yesterday, she indicated that she knew me and my name. When I asked her if she remembered the conversation we had the day before, she said "no".
How is your mom doing now? I feel like I know exactly what you were talking about when you said she is all you've got. I feel so desperately the same. I'm grieving because I feel like she is gone even though she is still here. I am heartbroken.
