I had a sroke at 48. other than feeling like I had an icepick sticking my eye for about 2 seconds, there was no pain at all ever.
The support of my siblings was by far the best of the situation.
Firstly, if his left side was weakened...perhaps, but not always...he may regain use.
like wise all the medication must be really regulated, keep him on it, keep it regular, keep it good.
Make sure to check for drug interaction...suddenly, my sleeping pill reacted to plavix, and I became hostile.
If he has weakness on right side...it is most likely permanent.
But, friends and family mattered most.
Thanks for letting me share

I am in the same boat now that you were in in 2007. My Grandmother had a massive stroke on Friday, left side of the brain. Can you tell me how your mother is and when you started to see positive change? Thank you
