Well, I think that is wonderful. Bless you for choosing to work with kids that many see as a problem. My own son has taught me so much about life and love, I can not tell you. He's a joy to me even on his worst days. I may be tired sometimes but he is well worth the effort. I think sometimes people don't understand the time it takes and effort to properly parent and care for a child with challenges nor do they see the beauty in it. It's always nice to run into those who understand. You have a fantastic night and don't be a stranger on med help!
Well, I'm so glad you've joined. I've started helping in a new community, Sensory Integration Disorder-- feel free to join us (just started this week). I think it is wonderful to have moms who have 'been there' to offer support to one another and new comers. Does your child have autism?
Hi there. I wanted to welcome you to med help! I really liked your post on the autismm forum. I have a son with sensory integration disorder and it is true that parenting him is hard for someone that doesn't have a special needs child to understand. Anyway, welcome and I hope you post again.
