I guess it's time to update this!
Geno 2b, tx, SVR. Have had no insurance since tx trial and wander aimlessly in a few post issues, but all in all, life is good. Med He ... [More] lp was a God send for me thru dx, bx, tx and post. I wish I had more time to be around now, but life get's busy after tx, back to hectic. I often 'send' people to this site, amazing how many I run across now, with Hep C.

I made it! The MDA all womens ride 03/04/08, went well and thank you so much you 'two'!!
We raised over $65,000 I've heard!
I made it again:)! The ride for St. Judes Childrens Hospital! About 1500 showed up. I LOVE giving thru something I so enjoy also.

52, 3 great sons, all grown and on thier way.  Live in Fl., for family. A 'health nut' that can't quit smoking! Hobby- Fat Boy harley, not much lately as :( Holding up 850 lbs. is getting harder!
My 'passion'....Very anti-drug & do some non standard 'methods' to help fight against crack/meth. ( while all are bad, those 2 are grabbing the young in horrific rates)
I tried about everything in the 70's as a teen ( we think I have had this 32 years now, from STUPID youth mistakes!?? ) and knew by 18 it was not the life for me, than became outragously anti. Not much I won't do to help/save someone from that world, sadly many aren't 'saveable'.
Diagnosed with Hep C after a few years of going to Dr.s-sick- with them saying "your fine"! My acupunture/Chinese med. Dr. 'discovered' this!
Blessed with Type 2b and not cirrhosis but fibrosis and starting the Phase 3 trial on Albumen Interferon versus Pegasys.
Enough about me, did I mention I talk a lot :)
LOVE this site and learning so much. So much help to hear from those living every fear, sympton, question I have. Tho very sorry for all of you suffering, so very happy to meet you!
On to the battle.

UPDATE: finished tx, SVR! Keep your hopes up and hang in there all starting this life altering journey.

Interests: Hepatitis C, quitting smoking!! 'Killing off' drug dealers that supply 'kids', people!
  Would like to see them thrown into a ring of family members that have lost loved ones to drugs, than shipped to a prison and put into cell's of big 'Bubbas' :)

Just a quick note to say hi back at ya....don't check my notes much...hey girl, glad to see you stopping in... so glad you made it!! yes, my cookie is tough but crumbly at this point...I'm gearing up for another fight..but it's got me rattled just thinking about it...maybe if I could get on a hog and fly around for a while it would improve things : ) I'm betting you are enjoying your new lease on life...am I right?? Oh my goodness....look how your little Izzy is growing!!!! Great pics. My chick is on still on the front porch-covered in pollen, but enjoying the sun, lol!! (((HUGS)))
