well that's dexamphetamine! there's no way there'd prescribe me that and I don't think I wanna take it anyway,my speed days are long gone! I don't think it can be very good for anyone with a post viral fatigue syndrome as you'd just be using energy you don't have so surely you would have worse crashes? I spent years prior to dx overdoing it on good days and paying for weeks afterwards, nowadays I keep fairly stable by doing very little all of the time.I don't sleep for more than 2or3 hours a night,I have low grade fevers all the time and trouble regulating my tempurature-worse at night, racing mind, hypersensitive to smells/noise/movement,anxiety attacks-can you imagine throwing amphetamine into that mix?!!!? Glad it's working for you tho xxx
thanks Frank. As I'm sure you'll appreciate I understand the chronic fatigue thing only too well,I've not been far from my sofa since tx in 2006/7.I finally received the post interferon syndrome dx after 5 yrs of fighting for it-we shouldn't have to do that. It's a struggle to do the basics in life, never mind fight the medical profession. One day we will fight back!
