About Me: Female, Albany, NY, member since Aug 2007
Found out I had HCV (HepC just sounds cute to me, and this is not cute) about 7 years ago. Think I've had it for 35+ years. Treated immediately for 48 wks, but never cleared. My thyroid died from therapy, but I think there was some improvement from the interferon, as I
[More] have felt better after than before. That might be because I cut myself some slack because I know that there is a reason I am so tired, or maybe the herbs, etc. I take are helping. Am planning to try therapy again, hopefully with telaprevir. My gastro says that I am in better shape than 90% of his patients, including those without HCV, but I can't stand the thought of living like this for much longer.
