Glad to hear your preventative meds are working -what do you take again? The neuro cancelled my appointment because they reached their max for patients with my insurance, so I have gone back to my PCP (who is clueless). I am still trying to get the money somehow for Diamond. I found out what tests they plan to do, and am trying to get my PCP to order them so I can have them done locally and have my insurance pay. He has a very fragile ego though, and got pouty on me when I told him what tests the clinic wanted. He did order some, but is refusing to order the others at this point. Shocks are almost constant now. Woud appreciate prayer for my PCP to get a clue and for a financial miracle for Diamond.Hope you are well! Love and prayers, Nancy
Just a quick note to say hi!
Haven't heard from you in awhile and I was wondering how you are and what's new with you. Just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hope you are well.
I followed up on it and the $285 is just the minimum- it includes nothing. Also, I found out the inpatient stay lasts between 3-7 days and cost self pay patients $300/day. I haven't given up - I am just overwhelmed by the cost and trying to figure out some way I can come up with that kind of money and how long it will take me - that's what's discouraging me. But I have some hope now because I have a plan and I have the support of someone who's been there and understands. THANK YOU! Hope you are well.
Love and prayers, Nancy
$1,100 ?!?!?!?!? I was told $285, "not including any treatment, IV's, etc." Our migraines sound very similar - sounds like I can expect to pay closer to a grand then. including "everything." Oh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I just don't see how I could possibly come up with that kind of money. thanks for info. Glad you are well. will write more later.
