Just a quick note to say hi! I had the same problem in 2007. 6 years later the pain is unbearable and they are going to re operate. It feels like damaged tissue to me and for me the only thing that can repair tissue loss is remolding with new tissue. Hope they get it right this time Im so depressed. Anne

I'm a nurse practitioner. Have a friend with small pineal cyst but having abnormal pupillary response. Any chance they can use a gamma knife to remove or shrink? It's benign they think via MRI. She's going to go to UCSF but very worried. Ever heard of non surgical technology treating this?
Thanks, Elizabeth Davis, FNP
My brother, 17, is currently having a very difficult recovery from a viral meningitis bout that went undiagnosed for over a month when he was 14. He has a wide array of symptoms that are having a severely negative effect on his quality of life.
Are there any specialists who deal with the after effects of meningitis or the recovery from meningitis in the US? *Any* information at all is helpful.
