37 weeks, lots of BH, and the placenta has finally moved!!!
About Me: Female, 28, Cumberland Furnace - TN, member since Sep 2007
December 3, 2008 - 34 weeks - Placenta still hasn't moved. Baby is measuring about 6.5 lbs and is thriving. My body is preparing for labor!!! I am 2 cm's dilated so 1/5th of the way there. Although it could still be weeks, I'm starting to get excited and nervous all at ... [More] the same time. My next doc appt, we will discuss birthing options.
November 12, 2008 - We are now in week 31. It is getting close to DD. I have marginal placenta previa at this time. My OB wants at least one more U/S in the next few weeks to see if it has moved enough for him to be comfortable with me trying a vaginal birth. I sure do hope that it does, because as most of you know I am dreading a c-section. I am so excited that the end is near and it won't be long now before I get to see my little bundle of joy. I've packed a bag for baby, but not one for myself. I am on preterm labor watch and I guess holding off on packing my bag in hopes that labor will hold off too. I have discovered a wonderful test that puts my mind at ease and has saved me at least three trips to L&D in the last two weeks. The test is a fetal fibronectin test. My results were negative which puts me at a less than 2% chance of going into labor. The results are only good for two weeks and my next test is November 18th. I won't be so worried once I get to 36 weeks because we'll be considered full-term. So, here's praying that we make at least another 5 weeks and that we get to go vaginal. :)

September 22, 2008 - We are at 24 weeks. YEAH! This is an exciting time. It means we have reached viability if anything does go wrong from this point on. I don't think this will actually make it any easier or make me any less jumpy over every little thing, but at least it does give me some comfort.

July 8, 2008 - I am officially 13 weeks preggo. Made it to my second trimester. YAY!

Today, is May 5, 2008. I took two HPT's this weekend and both came back positive. My appointment with my OB is tomorrow morning.

I found out Saturday March 1st that I am going to miscarry. This will be angel #2. I began miscarrying on Friday March 7th.

We were officially TTC for 20 months. I found out I was pregnant on January the 21st (2008). Very excited and nervous all at the same time. I miscarried shortly after coming off of the depo. More than likely caused by the depo. I have had normal periods and had started ovulating again only a few months ago. I read about a weight loss program that uses HCG to rapidly lose weight. I started on it about 3 months ago and lost about 40 lbs. However, what I didn't realize is that HCG is also used in fertility treatments, so there is an increased chance of multiples. Now that would be interesting.

My last depo provera shot was the first week of July 2006. I have had what I would consider normal periods now since about May 2007. I haven't been charting yet, but plan to soon. I do have a fertility friend account but I have been using it to chart the start and end of periods to see when they would return to normal. I was on here previously as nikkolettesearle, but due to some sort of upgrade I needed to reset my password and in order to that it needed to be emailed and about 2 months ago I switched providers so that I could get high speed internet. I have read many posts and have done lots of research, but I am by no means an expert. The hubby and I would like to conceive but have decided that if it doesn't happen naturally, then we will be glad for the one we have and just move on from there. So fertility treatments are not an option we would like to explore at this time and maybe never.

For the most part, I am feeling much better...I actually feel like I am going to REALLY have a baby! I have a low lying placenta which has been on my mind, so I have been worrying a bit BUT our boy is doing well AND I have just started feeling him...it is soooo neat! Thanks for checking in! Hope all is well with you!
