hi- read your post.. sorry you're not feeling well. I have some of the same symptoms... though not exact. I have been just surviving for the past three months as I go from doctor to doctor all telling me I'm fine... and still feeling horrible. Number one thing is I'm dizzy ALL the time. Waiting on third Lyme disease labs to come back. You said you were tested for Lyme right? Hang in there..would love you to keep me posted.
Believe it or not this is starting to make sense. I play guitar as well....in the last 8months though I have been playing bass which you know is much heavier. It seems as though my neck is much stiffer and the dizziness is worse the day after I have played a venue for about two hours. My chiropractor cannot believe how my neck feels and sounds when he adjusts it. It does seem inflamed though and sore most of the time. I'm sorry that I keep emailing you back every time you respond but I am so desperate just to find any relief.....I'm sure you understand. I am going to try your suggestions and I'll keep you updated. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for responding. I have been to an ENT, a neurologist and a chiropractor. They all tell me the same thing....that I'm fine and they don't see anything wrong. I have had an MRI and a CT Scan of the spine. My muscles DO feel tense in my neck and I am at my computer a lot during the day - sometimes 8 or 9 hours a day. For instance, I just got up and it's 10:00 my time. I could have slept until 2:00 if my family would let me. I'm sleep and groggy and feel like I have a water head. The room isn't spinning but it just feels weird. All of the doctors think I'm crazy. I'm miserable. I appreciate your response and will try reading on the SCM muscles. So do you feel functioning again?
Just saw your profile. I'm new to this forum. I noticed your last notes were from August. Have you been back to any other specialists? If so, what is the verdict....I am going crazy with the same symptoms.
