About Me: Female, 51, Pitt Meadows, member since Sep 2012
I have a back injury from a work related injury. The injury was untreated for 15 months, I now have chronic back, hip, knee pain.I have pain 24-7. I take morphine 3-4 times per day. Even if i need more I can't take it, I am only allowed a certain amount per day. They say
[More] morphine is a habit forming substance ( for me I disagree, I only take it if I need it.) My pain has increased so much that I feel I need to go to the hospital and they can see my struggle with pain and able to even walk normal. My back cracks on it's own constant. My injury is not reparable with surgery, I am on WCB and they have me on a back to work program,if I don't comply with there rules, I will be cut off. I have decided to get a lawyer and my doctor is willing to support me. I want to go back to work so bad,I am such a people person and I was given that gift. What would you do in my situation, Oh just to add, I can only lift 22 pounds. If an employee asked me to lift more,He will probably fire me. I am so desperate to hear other stories and some advice. In pain Sandy
