About Me: Female, 31, Girard, KS, member since Sep 2012
I am almost 28 years old. I have struggled with PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrom) for years. I have had irregular periods most of my life. I also have had multiple miscarriages. I never have had one documented due to lack of HCG. I know I am not crazy. I carried a preg
[More]nancy to 4 1/2 months and could feel the butterfly fluttering of the movements, Morning sickness in the beginning, boobs went up a whole cup size, stomach grew, etc. I went to the hospital which was through the native americans since I am Cherokee. They refused to wake up my OB because I THOUGHT I was pregnant. The baby passed the next day. No I did not see it. I felt the movement stop and I doubled over in pain and bled VERY heavy and felt it pass. I didn't want to look. I was too heart broken. I pretty well gave up and got depressed after that. Then God brought my amazing daughters in my life. they were 4 and 6 and only had a daddy. I married him a couple years later and have been married for 5 years. 2 years ago I adopted them. We really want a baby and so do the girls. They are 12 and 14 and very supportive. I have skipped 2 months now (I have not missed a period for a year). Oh and I need to mention a few years ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. May of this year 2012 I was put on Insulin. I hear lack of insulin can cause hormone problems. Well my numbers are doing better and I have now missed 2 periods. I took a blood test a week ago and it came back negative. By my calculations I would be about 6 weeks pregnant. We are hoping and praying I am. I am here for some support on the diabetes and PCOS as well as the Fertility issues.
Finally after 9 years I got my Miracle Rainbow baby! She will be 3 months tomorrow!
Today is Day one of my cycle. Satuday I start my first round of Clomid!
