For a HCV PCR it is sent to the BC disease control centre,it takes from 1 to 2 weeks to get the results.
Apparently they are only in BC,Ontario and Quebec. So I was incorrect in saying they are in most provinces. They do all the bloodwork and analyses of any blood test one needs. When a doctor wants a blood test, urine sample, stool sample ect....he gives you a referal and you go to any lifelab office of your choosing and get the tests done...You get the results within 24 hours..all you need is an account at their website and results are given there for "free "...they just bill it to your medical service plan.
Just curious, does Alberta use Lifelabs,I know most provinces use them for all their lab tests.
