Just a quick note to say hi! I would like to know how u made out with your eyes. I have the same thing. ***@****. Please help
Have you seen the eyelid specialist? I didn't know there was such a thing and I was wondering if that was of any help. I too had the tear duct plugs, they helps some but then were taken out because they caused more irritation that good. I also have that gritty filling in my eyes. My ophthalmologist found that there were tiny bumps all over the inside layer of my eye lids that scratch my eyes when I blink. Now that I've been on the "Alrex" steroid eye drops for almost a year they are starting to go away and are barely visible any more. but I still have the burning and itching. Just wondering if the eyelid specialist was able to do anything for you.
I have seen regular doctors and even endocrinologists for testings of the thyroid and such. All perfect. I am on my 3rd allergist and after a 3rd set of testing (my other doctors were using an older test) they found some allergies and are contributing it to dust now. I've started Allergy shots this week, and he feels this will be the only thing to help. I've also bought $150 worth of covers for my bedding to keep dust mites out. Please let me know if you ever find any relief and I'll let you know if I find anything...I've been wanting to give up because it seems no one knows what's going on...but the pain is too much to give up! I feel your pain literally! ***@****
Hello, I have been having the exact same thing for going on 3 years now. I'm almost 26 and it started when I had just turned 23. I have had dry eyes mentioned, sojurnes, i've had blood work, allergy tests, patch tests, spent hundreds and maybe even thousands of dollars in doctors visits, treatments, etc. I've yet to get relief. I saw 4 Ophthalmologist before I found one that could help. I was treated for 1 1/2 years for dry eyes but that is not it. Now I'm using "Alrex" steroid eye drops twice daily to help the pain.
