I also am being treated with Lyrica for anxiety - along with 6 mg of xanax a day. I'm on 200 mg twice a day and honestly don't notice any difference in controlling my anxiety. Xanax is about the only thing that really helps, but doc won't give me more than the 6 mg a day and that just doesn't do it. I'm in agony from 4 am when I get up for work until 11 when I can take the first xanax, it wears off about 1 and I have to wait until 3 to take the second and then it wears off about 6 and I have to wait until 8 to take the 3rd dosage so that I can go to sleep at 10. I'm very frustrated.
