You are in my thoughts and prayers. I too have an 8-year-old boy who I feel like is demon possessed. He was not like this 3 years ago. He had a mild case of tourrette's and now he talks about suicide and harming others. He also has no remorse punching me or his father. It has affected his school, his friends, and his family life to a very severe degree. I am feeling helless. Any suggestions?

I was reading your posts and it sounds like our daughters are similar in their behaviors. I would be interested in knowing what medication, if any you have tried, and if you tried the traditional behavioral therapy as well. I have a 7 year old who has been diagnosed with ADHD, ODD and Anxiety Disorder. Life at home is very difficult right now and I am in a diffcult place. I dont want to over medicate my child, however if there is a chemical imbalance I do not want to ignore that either. I have three other children in the house as well who are suffering because of my daughter's behavior.

Hi. My son is 6 and sounds very similar to your dtr. I am also at my wits end and it is very frustrating. We just started seeing a counselor who also does hypnotherpay and I hope this will help. I really do not want to start any medications this young! Just know there are several parents in you situation and you just have to hang in there. Day by day is the way to go. I never know what the day will bring, but when he is good, he is very good or vice versa.
