Hi Stephanie, I am glad the SM worked well, but I am sorry the TN seems to be picking up again. Did you get my PM? I cant tell if the Lamictal is doing anything yet. I need to titrate very slowly to the amount he wants me on. Takes about 5 weeks to get there. My pain is just about gone right now, thank goodness, and hopefully it wont return. Have u been on Trileptal? Good luck with the Tegretol, I hope it helps. I think that is a really good med for TN. Usually the 1st tried. I hope it does the trick. Let me know you are doing, and I am glad you had a good trip with your girls. Wishing us both good success on our pain with our new meds. This is quite a hard thing to deal with... Justhi steph thank you for the kind words you said. yes it is f a quick note to say hi! yes it is frustrating but i think i will try to take a hiatus as well maybe take a course and start going to my yoga again maybe it may take a long time to get a diagnosis but that is ok to. hope you are ok.

Hi Steph. I just saw your note on Vinfren's profile and see that the 3 of us are all in the North VA area. I live in Falls Church. Vinfren told you about Dr. Rosenbaum and I can give a thumb's up for this lady neurologist as well. She is amazingly thorough and caring of her patients. She can be a little focused, but that is really a plus in that she doen't leave any stone unturned to make sure she gives excellent care. You might want to try to see her. There is a waiting list, so earlier you call the better. She is worth the wait. Good-luck. -Julie
