Just a quick note to say hi!General myelinization pattern appears normal, except that there are multiple pathcy, irregular foci of increased long TR signal involing the subcortical white matter, in a relatively peripheral distribution, i.e. mainly the mor peripheral subcortical white matter than the immediate periventricaular white matter. T1 signal is so intense. Finding are non specific and represent a demyelinating disorder. Impression White Matter Disease of unknown etiology. What does this mean? My child has suffered long enoung and if I know what I was talking about maybe I can ask the Doctors the correct question to get a answer. Please Help!
