Hi, Thanks for your post regarding post op energy levels. I had total hsyt/bso/appy a week ago and after about 4 days I got the blues, have been crying at everything and was really worried about that. I was wondering if it could be from the sudden onset of surgical menopause. I don't ahve a post op appt til Nov 14 but was wondering if I should call my doc and ask about HRT NOW. I think I need some. Do you have any idea how quickly one can start HRT? Thanks so much for your posts Laney

MickeyVicki, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner after you left a note on my profile. I hate to admit that I can be forgetful from time to time, but it is the truth... Or, I will say, "Oh, I will do that next..." as in your case... I wanted to write back to you sooner and then I would start something else.... I work with Teens and tell them to try to avoid distractions and yet I seem to be the one easily distracted. I was sorry to hear about your Mom. And, what is the prognosis for your Dad regarding the detached retina? I cannot imagine all of the thoughts going through your head. I saw your nice note to Dian... and, yes, we were all together back in the day! But, just as Dian frequents the forum, I hope you continue to do so also. We have missed you! Mary

MickeyVicki ! It is so nice to see you on the boards. At first I thought maybe I was looking at an older post when I went to the Ovarian Cyst forum. I was thrilled to see it was a recently asked question. I recall you dropped by last December and it was so nice to hear from you. Hope you can stick around. I always loved your responses and, in fact, I think you were the first member to post to me after I responded to another poster...way back in maybe 2004 (or earlier?). Take care, Mary
