We started ttc march2007 I had premenstrual spotting since getting off the pill, then had some pain, figured it was just a cyst - got an ultrasound and was told that it was an endometrioma (I had not had any signs of endo at all!) so this was a shock! It had basically d
[More]estroyed my left ovary... so I had a lap to get that removed, and then was told that i was one of the worst cases of endo the dr had ever seen, and they couldn't do much to clean it up! So i rushed to an RE and started the get preg as fast as possible before the endo ruins everything plan! Then after only one month with the RE, although I have regular periods every month and none of the symptoms just got diagnosed with PCOS too! ugh! So if we ever actually get Preg it will truely be a miracle baby! This has been such a struggle! I am hoping it will end with a success story!
So we finally got pregnant, the month before doing IVF - our paperwork was submitted and everything in place for IVF, we had both given up hope ! couldn't believe our little miracle happened! Then we were devastated..found out that it was not a viable pregnancy, and lost it at 10 weeks.. after battling bad hyperemesis waiting to miscarry.. it was the worst time in my life!.. we got back on the ttc wagon and were blessed again with another pregnancy, just to start bleeding, but things continued to look good until one day the bleeding became too heavy and we lost that one too.. we waited to start again, and meanwhile had our labs taken for genetic testing.. in the meantime did another injectable IUI cycle and got pregnant, couldn't believe it, but I was already spotting.. found out on the same day that I have a genetic clotting disorder.. lost that pregnancy-chemical! ugh! so now waiting to start ttc again with the addition of lots of vitamins and blood thinners - I hope and Pray constantly that this is our answer! That we will someday be blessed with a full term pregnancy and a baby(ies)!
Wow I just read your journals!! They give me so much hope!! I too was diagnosed with sever endometriosis and have dermoid tumors. I am currently on my 3rd IVF cycle and really hope we get to become parents. I have been trying to reach out to other women who were diagnosed with severe endo and were still able to conceive. I am trying not to lose hope and reading stories like yours really gives me the faith to continue trying. How is your baby doing now? she must me at least 3 yrs old now. Thanks again for your inspiration!
