My husband had a radical prostatectomy on December 19th. He has just had his second psa test after his op. and both counts were zero. Interested in hearing about others who have been through what we have been through. He is back to his sport again - golf and tennis.
Just a quick note. Glad to hear about your husband's 0. I suppose he can deal with the red wine issue. ;-) The ED issue will resolve itself. I am dealing with peyronies right now, so nothing is like it used to be. I am taking L-Arginine (free form) and suggest that you all look into supplements to help with the ED. L-Carnitine PLC--there are many kinds of L-Carnitine. Acetyl and PLC are the two kinds you want. What these two (or 3 supplements) do is help with the NO production. If the doctor prescribed a VED, use it! I think because i was able to achieve an erection w/o it, i stopped and that may be one reason i am dealing w peyronies now. It is important to get the blood flowing again. By all means if he is using pres. drugs, keep using them under dr's care. All the best. phil
Thank you so much. I am glad your husband is doing better. I am trying to find out how to manouver properly around this site - luckly I found your note.
We are having trouble guaging her condition every day she changes. It is hard when we (my husband and myself) are the only caregivers.
