Hi ShooShee, I read your post from 2008 regarding your son in 1st grade. My son is in 2nd but had similar problems in 1st at the start of the school year until he was put on risperidone, small dose, but helped tremendously. He's not violent, doesn't hit kick but he's disruptive, disorganized, and they are seeing alot of work refusals this year, so much so that at his IEP meeting in October, they are recommending he be transferred to an EI school out of our district. Wondering how your son is doing and what meds worked for you? My son has tried absolutely every ADHD med out there. He's on Strattera 28 mg. If you could email me back at ***@**** that'd be great.
