[More] I'm a little over 3 weeks post-op and other than calcium issues which you can read about in my blog if you're interested, I feel good. I'm still recovering and am hoping for the best possible outcome with the help of my doctors, friends, family and you all.
UPDATE:
8/26/08 -----My Calcium seems to have regulated a bit, my supplement dosages have been cut which is a good thing, but I've had this eye twitch/spasm and surrounding muscle sensation since the surgery which is still not going away and I have no idea what it could be. . .I just want to be healthy again!
9/5/08----Calcium seems stable. . .down to 1 calcitriol a day (.5) and 1500mgs of calcium. That's 4 pills down from a high of 24 pills a day!! My synthroid was also cut from .175 to .137 due to shaky feelings and a possible anxiety attack. . .we'll see how that goes. . .
9/19/08----Calcium still stable!! Being taken off of calcitriol. . .we'll see how it goes. . .going to try to go up to .150 of synthroid. . .see if we can stop this hair loss!
10/01/08----Calcium stable! I think my parathyroids are back! I start 150 of the synthroid tomorrow. . .
calcium---8.5 (range 8.5---10.5)
albumin---4.1 (range 3.2---4.9)
TSH-------1.82 (range 0.4---4.8)
